2014 Fire Awareness Awards big winner on the night was the Emerald Community House with Emerald CFA Brigade, taking home both the Community Preparedness Award and the esteemed $10,000 RACV Insurance Award for Excellence. The ECH project required childcare parents to attend CFA bushfire planning workshops.
