Children’s Programs
Childcare
We offer registered licensed childcare program for children from 6 months to 5 years old with sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:30am to 2:30pm and cost is from $55 per day. Our program is eligible with the Government Childcare Subsidy now available.
Out-of-School-Hours care
Emerald Community House provides a registered licensed Out-of-School-Hours care program Monday to Friday mainly for Emerald Primary School children during school terms. Our facility is also open to other primary school children. Our program is eligible with the Government Childcare Subsidy now available.
Morning sessions are from 6.30am – 9am and cost $20 per child. Children are to be dropped off at Emerald Community House. Children from Emerald Primary School are walked over to school at 8.45am each morning.
Afternoon sessions are from 3.30pm – 6.30pm and cost $22 per child. Children meet outside the School office and are walked over to Emerald Community House by our Out-of-School-Hours care staff. Parents collect children from Emerald Community House.
A substantial and nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea is provided within the fees.
Fun activities include arts & crafts, books, board and other games, outdoor activities, and lots more. Computer and internet are also available for use.
